Live up to your personal style

Current retro men’s styles include men’s logo T-shirts, patterned men’s button-down shirts and motorcycle-style men’s jackets. Who knew that the men’s styles that you loved in the past would once again become fashionable? A great collection of the latest fashion clothing for men can be found at various websites with simple search.

Man Fashion is not just about what you wear however, but how you wear it as well. You could take the exact same male clothing and put it on two different men and it could look completely different. No matter what type of men’s fashion clothing it is, the fashions will look better on a man that is in shape than a man that it is out of shape.

Taking care of your body is simply a matter of making a few minor changes to your lifestyle such as diet and exercise. Working out a few hours at the gym every week won’t kill you and you will definitely see a difference in your body. You’ll feel better about your body, be more confident and, therefore, look better in whatever men’s fashions you choose to wear.

When developing your own personal men’s style the most important thing to remember is to stay true to yourself. Just because a men’s fashion trend looked great on your favorite actor doesn’t necessarily mean it’s for you. If you’re uncomfortable in it, chances are it isn’t the style for you.

So be your own style from today onward.

Ultimate Man Fashion Style

Eminem or Ricky martin, Richard Gere or Leonardo de Caprio, Jude Law or Johnny Depp, every body has his individual style. People round the globe want to follow them and become the prince charming of beautiful ladies. Fashion is not an exclusive forte of ladies any more. Looking good is an art. So more and more people are now concerned about brushing up their skill in this art. Gone are the days when individual actors or singers had their individual style. The present day actors change their style according to the character they play. Nowadays Harry Potter and Pirate of the Caribbean create fashion. Man Fashion Style consists of a lot of things. It is not enough to wear fashionable clothes to look fashionable. The right kind of accessories and the perfect style of the shoe will complement your dressing.

Man Fashion Style consists of everything starting from sporty look to formal-executive look. Men have two options to choose from. They can run after fashion or make fashion run after them. In the case of formal outfits you hardly have any choice. But you are always at liberty to make minor variations in your formal outfit. As in case of suits, stripes are back. Neck-ties in dots and stripes go well with formal out-fits. There are a range of ties with weird prints of skulls and human faces. They are never advisable for an official meeting or interviews.

The style of casual look changes everyday. It is not very easy to be in the right mode of style in your casuals. But the messed-up look is in. So whatever you wear, try to look carefully careless. That is the latest trend. It is high time to take those torn jeans out of your closet. Spray your hair and shuffle it. Wrist bands are the evergreen choice for the party animals. You can coal your eyes if you wish to. The unshaven look will complete the look (again it is optional). The most unusual choice this season for men is skirt. Many people are expected to be irked by the fact. But believe it or not, this is the age of being unusual. Even a few years ago people used to look at men wearing skirts quite awkwardly, but things have changed in a big way. Skirts of different length are ruling the ramps worldwide. So what are you waiting for? Be a little innovative and go for the size that suits you the best.

Fashion changes very frequently. What is in today will be out tomorrow. You have every right to look fashionable, but don’t throw the things out of your closet as and when you find them outdated. Wait for a few years, and see how fashion repeats itself. There is always scope for innovations with the individual pieces you have and you never know when you start being envied by your pals.

Keep Your Man In Style By Choosing Designer Ties To Spice Up His Wardobe

Some people think that men are ignorant of fashion, especially a lot of women. That may be true of some men but as for myself I try to stay on top of the market. For one thing it is part of what I do as an internet marketer of diverse products. I need to know what is hot and what’s not so I don’t waste time and money promoting things that are not in demand.

With that said, if you are a lady who has a man that is not so into fashion and keeping up with what is in style you may have to take up the slack. One way to do this is to bring home a fine quality designer tie for him that will bring that old suit back to life. If you couple a new tie with a new white dress shirt it can add spice to nearly any suit.

All men will have the need for a suit and tie at some point. I know I wear only shorts and flip flops 95% of the time but when I go to seminars or speaking engagements I am expected to dress appropriately which includes wearing a nice suit and I am picky about the ties as well. I will not wear any tie, since I don’t wear them often I like to really make a statement when I do.

It doesn’t matter if your husband or boyfriend is conservative or more on the wild side ladies, there is a diverse selection of designer ties available in every imaginable color and pattern so you are sure to find something that will suit his taste. If your man is a little more on the unstructured side like me you may want to consider a tie that is a little more on the wild side as opposed to conservative. For example, I would not be caught dead in a striped tie!

If your man does wear a suit and tie everyday like I used to do he will appreciate the gift of a new tie to add new life to something he has been wearing on a daily basis. Try to get him to be a little experimental in tie selection as well as shirt colors. I knew a lot of men who only wore white shirts with gray suits and drab striped ties, how boring is that? People used to get a kick out of me because they never knew what color or what kind of wild print I would have on my ties.

Armani's 21 rules for achieving Style

1 A cheap pair of shoes is a false economy. Never skimp on staples: this is the basis of your wardrobe.

2 The work/life balance is the key to happiness for every man. I have sacrificed my life to my work, and if I could start again I would do things differently.

3 Black and dark navy are the most slimming colours. You can afford to be more adventurous with form and texture if you stick to this colour palette.

4 Never try too hard with what you wear: the most stylish men are those who look as if they are making the least effort. Ultimately fashion is about personal expression, and I don’t think anything can be called a fashion disaster if the wearer is being true to himself.

5 If you play sports intensively you will develop muscles in unusual places. Then you may have to consider bespoke tailoring. I recently started dressing the Chelsea football players and those guys are well built.

6 People say that I look 20 years younger than I am and ask, what’s my secret? Partly it’s genetic. My mother died at 90 but seemed like a woman of 65 at the time. I hope to be the same. But it’s also down to self-discipline: don’t go to bed too late; don’t drink too much; don’t smoke. And really understand and manage your inner self.

7 You can’t always get what you want, as Mick Jagger sang. Yes, I wanted to be tall and to have an important nose. Accept the hand you have been dealt and make the best of it. Don’t waste your life trying to change things you cannot change, and don’t dwell on them.

8 To look sexy as a man is a matter of confidence. It is a state of mind as much as a state of body.

9 Up to the age of 50 I didn’t think about my physique, then a friend told me to look out. Now I do an hour’s gym a day. Exercise lifts your mood and keeps you sharp. It helps you to focus and to feel comfortable in your own skin.

10 Some male role models endure. For me, Cary Grant is still the man – he managed to look good in a suit even while running across a field being chased by a plane. My friend George Clooney has that quality, too – he looks effortlessly smart whatever he is wearing. I’m flattered that he chooses to wear my designs.

11 The jacket is the basis of the male wardrobe. Always make sure that it is well made, fits properly and is lightly constructed so that it makes you feel comfortable and confident. Once a good jacket is in place, the rest of the outfit follows.

12 Good clothes can help to make you feel confident and improve your performance. I had a call from a friend who had bought the rugby team that he supported as a child. They were doing badly. He asked me to dress them, and I agreed. That friend was Russell Crowe and now his Australian rugby league team, the Rabbitohs, are winning again.

13 A reputation can be like handcuffs. I’m supposed to be a minimalist, so people complain if I do anything else. It’s best to keep them guessing.

14 You know more than you think, and you can do more than you know. When my business partner died in 1985, some people thought that I’d close the firm. Instead I learnt how to do his job. Never underestimate your inner strength.

15 Hollywood black-tie is the ubiquitous uniform for any evening occasion: black suit, white shirt and black tie. It’s a cliché but it’s true: every man looks good in black-tie.

16 Choose fabrics that are neutral in colour and not too ostentatiously patterned – that way they will have a longer lifespan (from a fashion perspective).

17 Today it’s increasingly the accessories that make the man, so invest in good shoes, belts, bags, ties and the like, and you’ll be able to reinvent your outfits over and over again. Be aware of what colours you wear and buy accordingly, but always remember that you can wear either black or brown with grey. Your watch is one of the most important things you will buy; it says a lot about you as a man. I wear my own Borgo 21 watch, which I treasure.

18 A well-chosen fragrance can become a distinguishing characteristic. It is the first thing that people sense when you enter a room and the last thing as you leave.

19 You should have the courage of your convictions. When I first experimented with deconstructing tailoring, it went against the prevailing ideas and methods. But I simply wanted to make clothes that allowed you to look smart and be comfortable at the same time. In the end, my ideas caught on. Now men demand comfort from their tailored clothes.

20 I am happy to see that today there is a desire among men to be more elegant again. Grunge was not a good moment for me. Elegance is the key, I believe, to achieving a timeless look – something that does not date, and does not date you. I attribute my success to remaining true to this philosophy. To me, style is more important than transient trends.

21 No matter how hard I try, I will never persuade Sam Jackson to appear without a hat!

Acne and you!

Acne can be a painful and embarrassing condition for a person to be afflicted with. Often, a person who has acne cannot control its occurrence. But, by following a few acne skin care practices, acne can be controlled and even gotten rid of.

Acne is an inflammatory skin disease that affects millions of individuals. The most universal type of acne is known as “common acne”. Acne is caused when too many oils are secreted from the glands and those oils mix with dead skin cells, blocking the hair follicles. More oil secretions increase underneath the already blocked follicles (or pores), and skin bacteria begin to grow rapidly. This leads to red and irritated skin that most often appears as bumps on the skin’s surface. Any skin surface of the body is susceptible to acne, but it most commonly (and heavily) appears on the face, chest, back, and upper arm region.

Acne commonly begins to occur during puberty due to an irregular response by the body to regular levels of testosterone, a male hormone. Often, acne begins to subside or disappear altogether by the mid 20’s. However, some individuals do suffer with it throughout adulthood. And some adults do not even see the onset of acne until well into the adult years. This is known as adult onset acne.

Acne can leave scarring on the skin, as well as have a scarring effect on a person’s self-esteem, and even lead to depression. Because society can be so unforgiving about appearances, there are various medically prescribed treatments available, as well as acne skin care regimens that can be utilized in order to minimize the symptoms of acne.

Different things cause acne for different sufferers. A few of the recognized causes of acne include heredity, hormonal activity (puberty, menstruation, pregnancy), stress, certain medications, and skin irritation. All of these things have the potential to cause acne, as well as exacerbate it. There are a few myths regarding acne. For instance we’ve all heard of a mom telling her child not to eat too many greasy foods like French fries, or eat too many sweets, because it will give him or her pimples. That is simply an old wives’ tale. Diet does not cause acne, and does not affect it. Also, poor hygiene has no bearing on the occurrence of acne. Acne is not caused by dirt, and having poor hygiene habits will not aggravate the condition.

There are many treatments for acne available, both through prescription, and over the counter. There are antibiotics in the form of pills, as well as topical creams that are designed to treat the condition. Exfoliation can be used as a treatment to remove and prevent the build up of dead skin cells. And light therapy is being used more and more to treat acne. It is important to consult a dermatologist in order to determine the best course of treatment and learn the best regimen of acne skin care to carry out.

Dealing with the occurrence of acne requires knowing how to properly care for the skin. Acne skin care can help keep the problem from getting worse, and even alleviate it. It is important to gently wash the skin at least twice a day with a gentle skin cleanser. Do not scrub with a rough pad or use a rough soap. This will make the acne problem worse. And always completely rinse the skin after cleansing.

As part of an acne skin care routine, it is important to remember not to touch the afflicted skin areas. Do not try to squeeze acne. An infection could occur, compounding the problem, and scarring could result. Also, avoid the sun when possible. Wear protective clothing to avoid tanning or burning. The skin will age faster, and any fading effect of the acne is temporary and will become visible again when the burn or tan fades.

One size fits all!

Take a stroll down Avenue Montaigne, still fashion's super-luxury destination in Paris, and there is no question about what is filling the windows of the upscale stores: handbags. And more handbags.
They come as mighty totes heavy with metal or as tiny clutches embedded with crystal. The shock is not that they now have prime place behind the plate glass. It is in the prices, which French law requires to be on display: €1,100, €1,700, €5,300. (Don't even think about what that means when translated into the flailing dollar.) When did the handbag break the €1,000 barrier? Why is it doubling that now?

It is handbag heaven for luxury-company honchos, who have found a product that, when powerful and creative design is injected, can become a hot property with a huge price tag. Where once the Hermès Kelly stood supreme, other brands have risen and exceeded its price level.

Yet in the luxury world, a self-interrogation is going on behind closed doors. What comes after the handbag?

The answer is high-end jewelry and watches, which are now the focus of all the major brands.

Why these precious pieces, rather than mere clothes? You might imagine, after a seven-year reign of absolute domination, when the handbag you carry defines who you are among the fashion elite, that clothing might stage a comeback. After all, the trajectory of the brands that have made the biggest waves over the last decade was from accessories to clothing (think Bottega Veneta, Gucci, Prada). Those fashion houses like Dior or Yves Saint Laurent, which were built on fashion, moved into accessories to boost the bottom line. But as the current New Look revivals show, fashion recognition is still the DNA of the image.

But no one is giving the big push to designer clothing, except perhaps to the commercial part of the collection not shown on the Paris runways. More accessible clothes have been repackaged as "cruise" or "pre-fall" lines and put on the catwalk in other cities to give the brands "second life" appeal.

Man Fashion: Man's cardigan

The cardigan has long been a staple item of clothing in the wardrobe of many a woman - but, while cardigans have always been a unisex staple of knitwear, the men's cardigan has recently experienced a fashion resurrection. In fact, the men's cardigan is one of this year's most essential male fashion items.

But this trend of male cardigans is nothing new. Famous male cardigan wearers throughout the twentieth century have included a range of personalities, from the American comedian Bill Crosby and the British comedian and TV presenter Simon Amstell, to the renowned children's writer Roald Dahl and even rock legend Kurt Cobain.

In fact, the Cardigan was first named after James Thomas Brudnell, the 7th Earl of Cardigan, who was a British military commander during the Crimean War; since this time the cardigan has always been worn by both sexes. The male cardigan even made the headlines in the twentieth century, when the outspoken Bulgarian-born broadcaster and dissident, Georgi Markov, was involved in an attempted assassination - a poisonous pellet was saved from entering his skin too deeply because he was wearing a very thick woollen cardigan!

The year of 2007 has brought a revolutionary transformation in the designs of men’s cardigans. These cardigans have changed the entire variety of men’s fashions right from the ramps of Los Angeles to fashion houses and designer boutiques. The men’s cardigan range has got everything for you, whether you are searching for cardigan to go along with your formal dress or whether you are looking for a stripped or cross cheque cardigan to give you a ‘free of tension’ casual appearance. In short it can be said that 2007 is the year to fill your cabinet with cardigans.

This season's collections sees many top fashion retailers in the UK take their influences from the Beatnik era of the 1950s and 1960s, with strains of Parisian chic and jazz-soaked fashion penetrating the Spring/Summer 2007 look. Casual cardigans were a large part of the sophisticated image perpetrated by both well-known French philosophers, like Jean Paul Sartre, and legends of the American beat generation, Jack Kerouac and William Boroughs. If this is the look you're going for this season, then make sure you invest in some stripy cardigans or plain woollen cardigans for maximum effect.

And as the summer fast approaches, cardigans could also form an essential part of your festival fashion wardrobe. In fact, the men's cardigan is one of the most flexible and adaptable items of clothing a man could own. For instance, a cardigan can be worn loose during the day over a t-shirt for a chic but informal look; however, paired with a skinny tie, smart trousers and formal shoes for an effortlessly stylish evening look. So make sure you're not left out of this year's men's cardigan revolution and give yourself the freedom to adapt your look!

Diamond: Man's new Friends

We always said diamonds are a girl’s best friend. However, trend has changed. Man are start to addicted to this prestige accessory too.

At Isetan department store’s Men’s Building in Shinjuku, Tokyo, about 20 jewelry brands vie for men’s favor with their products.

Many of them look attractive to female fashion connoisseurs, too, as the varieties include a wing-shaped pendant studded with diamonds and rings decorated with sapphires or other colorful gemstones.

Isetan buyer Oko Narikawa said men who used to enjoy silver accessories are beginning to go for high-end jewelry adorned with diamonds and other expensive materials.

“They enjoy these products as items inspiring them with beautiful designs. Some men are particularly fond of handmade jewelry, while others like to own something with a story behind it,” Narikawa said.

With the rising popularity of upscale jewelry among men, jewelry brands are enhancing their men’s product lines.

Diamond giant De Beers, for example, has launched a men’s line this autumn. The products include pieces designed by renowned British jewelry designer Stephen Webster, using rough diamonds.

Ponte Vecchio has designed rings to look like the waistband of a pair of jeans with diamonds as the belt buckles.

Shops specializing in men’s jewelry also are on the rise. Upscale U.S. jeweler Harry Winston opened a branch at the Tokyo Midtown commercial complex in Roppongi, Tokyo, in March. The shop offers a special, relaxed shopping environment to male customers, making them feel like as if they are trying on jewelry in a guest room at their friend’s house.

SJX, a men’s jewelry boutique at Omotesando Hills in Harajuku, Tokyo, has an urbane atmosphere with its gold and black interior.

Thanks perhaps to the spreading notion of choi-waru oyaji,” or middle-aged men who are a bit “bad,” or the introduction of “cool biz” summer dress codes, men seem to have become aware of a kind of beauty to which they did not pay attention before.
